Welcome to Home of Batavia Youth Baseball (BYB)

Welcome to the 2013 season of Batavia Youth Baseball

Now in our 57th year, BYB is an all-volunteer organization offering a quality baseball program for the children of Batavia and Mooseheart. Our programs serve over 1,200 players age 6 to 17 with over 90 teams. With no financial support from any local government, BYB raises funds through local sponsors, donations, and player fund raising. BYB is in constant need of adult volunteers to coach, prep fields, sell concessions, umpire games, etc. We encourage and need your assistance. BYB holds monthly board meetings (open to the public) on the second Tuesday of each month at the Batavia Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson, 7:30 PM during the off-season, 8:30 PM during the season May through July.

12u Red finishes in 1st place at Barrington Memorial Day Classic

The 12u Red bulldogs continues to play strong in tournaments this year with a solid first place finish at the Barrington Memorial Day Classic. The team was 5-0 through the tournament and won the championship game 14-3 over Huntley.

13u Red brings home 1st place at the Lombard Memorial Tourney

The BYB 13U Red team went 4-0 en route to a championship in the Lombard Memorial Day Wood Bat Tournament, beating the Illinois Edge in the championship game. Five different pitchers combined for a no hitter in the tournament.

12u Red takes 2nd place at USSSA Reverse the Curse

The BYB 12u Red team finished in 2nd place at the USSSA Reverse the Curse tournanment that was held in Elgin on May 3rd - 5th. The Bulldogs were perfect in pool play but played a very tough Lake County Lightning team in the championship game.

BYB 2013 Travel Tryout Dates

Mark your calendars !!! BYB has tentatively set our tryout dates for 2014 Travel Teams. Tryouts will be held on August 17^th & 18^th. Times will be determined later so make sure to check back on the website once the dates get closer.
