Now in our 58th year, BYB is an all-volunteer organization offering a quality baseball program for the children of Batavia and Mooseheart. Our programs serve over 1,200 players age 6 to 17 with over 90 teams. With no financial support from any local government, BYB raises funds through local sponsors, donations, and player fund raising. BYB is in constant need of adult volunteers to coach, prep fields, sell concessions, umpire games, etc. We encourage and need your assistance. BYB holds monthly board meetings (open to the public) on the second Tuesday of each month at the Batavia Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson, 7:30 PM during the off-season, 8:30 PM during the season May through July.
Building off the successful big “hits” from last season, BYB is continuing to strengthen the instruction and competition offered in our 2015 Spring season.
New in 2015, BYB will introduce new training opportunities with our own BYB professional trainer, and we continue to evolve our partnership with neighboring programs to offer games with Geneva, St. Charles, and now West Chicago.
Batavia Youth Baseball is looking for Volunteers to help out at upcoming events in 2014. If you're not a coach or a team parent, but would like to volunteer some time in other ways, please give us your contact information. As events are added to the calendar throughout the year, you will be able to sign-up as a BYB volunteer.
