Welcome to Home of Batavia Youth Baseball (BYB)

Founded in 1956, BYB is an all-volunteer organization offering a quality baseball program for the children of Batavia and Mooseheart.  Our programs serve over 1,200 players age 6 to 17 with over 90 teams.  With no financial support from any local government,  BYB raises funds through local sponsors, donations, and player fund raising. BYB is in constant need of adult volunteers to coach, prep fields, sell concessions, umpire games, etc.  We encourage and need your assistance.  BYB holds monthly board meetings (open to the public) on the second Tuesday of each month at the Batavia Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson, 7:30 PM during the off-season, 8:30 PM during the season May through July.

2020 8u Tournament Team
Parents and players,
BYB travel has received a few inquires to create a 8u tournament team for the 2020 BYB season.  The tournament team concept allows youth players to get a "taste" of travel baseball by participating on a BYB house team during the regular season and also play in 3 weekend tournaments during the season.  Players would also participate in a limited amount of indoor winter practices at the Dawg Pound and Batavia High School Field House.
If you and your son would like to consider the 8u tournament team for 2020 send Kevin Riley an email at  .
