About Us

Since 1956, Batavia Youth Baseball (BYB) has been a cornerstone of the community, dedicating itself to teaching the game of baseball, fostering sportsmanship, and building character. As an entirely volunteer-run organization, we proudly provide a premier baseball experience for the youth of Batavia and Mooseheart.

* Serving over 1,200 players annually

* Engaging young athletes from ages 6 to 17

* Fielding more than 90 teams across all divisions

BYB operates completely independently, receiving no financial support from local government. Instead, our leagues thrive on grassroots support—fueled by the incredible generosity of local sponsors, community donations, and player fundraising. We are truly an organization built by the community, for the community.

It takes a massive team effort to make every season a success. We are always looking for passionate adult volunteers to help us shape the next generation of players. Whether you want to coach a team, prep the dirt for game day, help out in the concession stand, or umpire, your assistance is what keeps BYB running. We encourage you to get involved!
