Batavia Youth Baseball (BYB) has always been about so much more than just what happens on the diamond. It is about building a supportive community, teaching true sportsmanship, and ensuring that every single child in our area has the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience the pure joy of being part of a team. 💙

As a completely volunteer-driven, non-profit organization, we do a lot behind the scenes to make this all happen, and we simply could not do it without you! We rely entirely on the incredible generosity of our community, local businesses, and baseball families to keep our operations running safely and smoothly. 🏆 Keeping the Power League ALWAYS FREE: We are incredibly proud of our Power League, an inclusive baseball program for athletes ages 5–22 with special needs. Your donations cover uniforms, field time, and equipment so that these amazing athletes can play without their families ever paying a registration fee. 🫶

🏆 The "Dawg Pound" Training Facility: Did you know BYB operates our very own indoor training facility? The Dawg Pound gives our players a dedicated space to develop their skills year-round. Donations help us maintain this incredible facility, upgrade its netting and equipment, and support the trainers who offer private lessons to help our athletes reach their absolute potential. 🐾💪

🏆 Field Maintenance & Facility Upgrades: Safe, high-quality fields are essential for our players, and getting them game-ready throughout the playing season is a massive undertaking! It is so much more than just buying chalk and bases—your contributions help fund the heavy lifting. This includes the equipment and resources needed to drag and prep the infields, as well as major facility upgrades. We recently installed accessible dugouts at one of our parks, and your donations will help us bring these inclusive upgrades to our other fields. With enough community support, we could even build brand-new fields in the future! 🏟️🚜

🏆 Upgraded Safety & Game Equipment: From the "flex" baseballs used in our Instructional and Rookie leagues to the catchers' gear, helmets, and hardballs used in the upper divisions, your donations help us replace worn-out equipment and keep our players incredibly safe. 🧢
