It's Almost Here...
As I type this, we are receiving exciting news about Brady’s improvement… This means HELP is needed NOW.
The interest we have received for the Tournament & Fundraiser is overwhelming, HOWEVER, we still have a few limited team slots available to play and opportunities to volunteer and donate.
If you have FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS, ACQUAINTANCES, or even CO - WORKERS who want to be involved, now is the time to tell them to get their team together.
Event T – Shirts will be for sale at each field for $15… Everyone is encouraged to wear their shirt on MONDAY, OCTOBER 2ND 2023 to Work, School, Church, or Detention.
DO NOT FORGET: THE AWARDS CEREMONY – Sunday (10/1) at 5:00 pm at Batavia Moose Lodge #682
· PIZZA from Pal Joeys
· Bring a side dish or dessert to share.
· COST: You pay what you think is the right amount. All profits go to Brady and his family to fight his way back and speed up his recovery.
TO FOLLOW THE EVENT:
If you wish to donate, the above link will take you to our donation page.
SCHEDULES, RULES, TOURNAMENT PACKET & TEAM CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT OUT AS SOON AS ALL AGE GROUPS ARE FINALIZED (about 2 weeks before the event...)
WAITLISTED TEAMS: If we can open the age division to additional teams, we will try to do so up to the week of the event.
BRADY would be competing at the Middle School Level, so every opportunity will be taken to expand that age group.
TO REGISTER A NEW TEAM:
Official “Wiffle Ball” (Yellow) and official wiffle balls will be provided at each field. If you decide to bring your own bat, it must be the same official yellow bat without alteration. Any tape used for a batting grip must not extend beyond 12” from the knob of the bat.
Teams are encouraged to dress to entertain or terrify other teams. One of the tiebreaker categories to determine a higher seeding will be best team uniform.
3 Games guaranteed – Every team will play 2 pool play games and then all teams advance to bracket play. Teams with the same record out of pool play will have their bracket seed determined by (1) Runs against, (2) Best Uniform, (3) Rock – Paper – Scissors confrontation.
Please spread the word to those around you who would like to play, volunteer, or donate.
We will see you on OCTOBER 1.
